That was not the problem either.

I have the username twice under "Users". Once with and once without domain name.
I was just in the wrong directory

Many thanks for the quick help

If anyone is interested, I have written a small backup file (CMD) with the following functions
  • Source, destination and file name configurable
  • 7Zip Compression
  • Storage of codelobster registry entries in Reg-File
  • Backup the codelobster UserProfile data and the created reg file
  • Backup file with timestamp
Example of a created backup file "SHDECGNVENTW07-Entw-20201126151053.7z"

Due to the security settings the file has the extension txt

I could find the registry key

But the directory "c:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\CodelobsterIDE\" does not exist.
I have installed the program in a path other than the default path "D:\CodeLobster IDE".
Is that possibly the reason?

Hi.

Now You can try to copy the following folder:
c:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\CodelobsterIDE\

and the following folder in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\CodeLobster\CodelobsterIDE

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

Hi.

Yes, we are going to restore this feature soon.
Now we are working on advanced support for Python language,
and after that we will be able to do it.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

Are there any plans when this option will come?

How can I transfer my current configuration from one PC to another?

I haven't used codelobster a very long time.
Is portable mode in the newest version available?
If so, where is it available? It wasn't asked during setup. But I do not know if it was even asked in the older versions (I forgot...).
