First of all, Thank you for this great IDE. I installed it about 20 min ago and i already love it, but it would be more easy to work with it if different file types would have different icons.

Yes, i know that i can change the icons from windows, but if i reinstall it, i must begin from scratch.

Thanks again,
Mario

Hi.

We think you mean icons in the project view.
This tree shows all file types in the project - therefore we use windows icons for it.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

Sorry if i wasn't too clear :D
When a application registers a file type (like .php or .css) the icon of those files has the icon of the application which is used to open that file.

Some applications, have different icons to each file type, and this helps the user to recognize the file (for example when having a directory full with different file types).

Just a small example:

OK.
Yes - it is clear now :)

Now we set our icon only for .clprj files (Codelobster Projects).
Now we are not sure that we should set it for all our supported files.
We think we will do it with users confirmation.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

Bump!

I thinkt that is a great idea! Many times I have to look for the file properties because I don't know what type it is.
