Hi

I'm developing many addons for Joomla! with codeLobster and there is one thing that worries me so many time:

The hole joomla project as one codeLobster Project is very big (because of many installed components). And then, i open an existing file, and make "save as", the new file isn't shown in project tree. So i have to reload the whole project tree, what needs sometimes more then 5minutes (and my pc is very fast!). So why you don't add the new file directly when i make "save as" or why it isn't possible to only reload a subfolder of project tree. Most, there is one file in one folder that has changed. So i don't want to update the whole joomla installation!

Sorry for this not so friendli message! I love codeLobster but in the last weeks this "bug" is worring me very much!
So i hope you have a solution for me in one of the next releases...

Best regards
Renzo

Hi.

Big thanks for your feedback.
We know about this problem.
It is complicated task. We need to optimize all refresh (reload) algorithm for Project Tree.
We will do it after version 3.3. release.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

ping pong,
problem still exists. After adding new folder to the project it refreshes and closes all open documents. :(

Hi,

This post is pretty old but I cannot see any improvements in the way the project tree is managed in the latest 3.7 version...

Any ideas when those changes could be done:

- possibility to only refresh a folder and not the whole project every time
- avoiding the whole project to get refreshed each time we add a folder
- Possibility to move files around directly in the project tree

Thanks!

Hi, itechlang.

Thanks for good suggestions.
Yes, we didn't work more on Project Explorer yet.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

I've also noticed that the project tree displays the temporary files when refreshed (functions_clwptetmp.html). It would be nice if those could be hidden automatically.
