Hello CodeLobster,
As always, thanks for the great editor, I love it.
I was tapping away the other day, roughing out some methods, trying to keep track on what needed to be done.... when I thought about it.
What about a TODO parser?
When we're coding, we add something like this, preferably with HotKeys, and add our reminders
/*
@todo:
*/
Then have the editor parse the project files, and an extra tab at the bottom of the Project Pane, perhaps called 'TODO', which lists them in our project files.
Double-clicking an entry then takes us to that 'todo' item directly in the editor.
I did a search on a large number of php Editors, and only a couple mentioned it, although the implementation I did not follow up on.
I've always placed my own 'placeholders' in code, then had to search the project for them.
Being able to code on the fly, knowing a block could be inserted with HotKeys, then have them listed, would be great, IMHO
What do you think?
Thanks again,
Fat Lizard
