Post subject:  FTP should not copy remote directory structure

Codelobster is quickly becoming my main IDE at work - I plan to purchase soon. Here is a problem I need solved:

I often have a development environment on my local machine, that has a different directory structure above the site root than the production server:

production: /www.domain.com/web/content/
development: /wwwroot/domain/

I notice than when I create a FTP server using the explorer and set a remote folder of /www.domain.com/web/content/ , it will re-create the remote folder structure in the local directory. I'll get:

/wwwroot/domain/www.domain.com/web/content/

I'm pretty sure that's not what it should do. It should leave my local directory as:

/wwwroot/domain/

and then copy files and directories from the remote site into the local directory after the root I specified.

Thanks,
Marco

Hi, chimlonvn.

Do You work with a project inside Codelobster.
In the Properties of Codelobster project You can set FTP connection (that has remove folder field),
and after that You can synchronize your structure more easy
(in Projecr Explorer by upload/download buttons).

Regards,
Codelobster Team.
