Post subject:  PHP developer wanting to learn CSS & JS animations

I am completely new to all of this and looking around for help.I'm primarily a PHP developer but I do a fair amount of front-end work too and want to try getting to grips with more CSS / JS animations, parallax scrolling etc. I thought to try & learn this I'd try and recreate the affects of another site I like the look of and see where I get, the problem is I'm not really sure where to start. The site I'm looking to emulate is Jet Edge, does any one have any ideas on articles or links that'd be helpful in explaining how to create the scroll affect when you go down & the various other small affects? .I went through many resources and also Software Explainer Video but did not find any solution for this issues. Please help me out.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

Transitions in CSS are applied to an element and specify that when a property changes it should do so over gradually over over a period of time. Animations are different. ... They offer more fine-grained control as you can control different stops of the animations.
