Hm, it looks like a really good IDE, fast, highly customizable and convenient, but...
I can't set "FixedSys" font in editor!! :((( There are no such font in the list.
I use FixedSys for code everythere, and as for me, there are no any other fonts good enough for showing/editing the source codes.
Strange, but CodeLobster PHP Edition is the only one IDE from many, many IDEs I've seen which doesn't allows me to set my favorite font for code.

What's wrong with FixedSys font for you, developers?..

Hopefully, this issue will be fixed some day. Your IDE had almost became my favorite IDE for PHP from the first glance, but this "surprise" with font made me return to NotePad++ and forget my dreams about free IDE with PHP debugging again.

(no, please do NOT advice me Aptana or any other Eclipse-based monster :) I was looking for a free, fast and portable IDE with PHP-debugging, without tons of rubbish).

replaced:
Code:
<reg path="Variables@editor_fontname">Courier New</reg>
with
Code:
<reg path="Variables@editor_fontname">FixedSys</reg>
in "Portable/Portable.clv" file.
Now I see FixedSys font in editor, but it's a bit widened - looks like there is an extra pixel between characters horizontally.
After changing "Variables@editor_fontsize" property from 10 to 8, at last, it's Ok!

But still, if I change anything on Preferences / Editor / Settings tab, my font switches back to some default one! :(
(well, at least I still can alter settings on other tabs without resetting the font).

Looks like a tough one light man. Just wait for a while, this problem should be duplicated on their end.

I'm sorry if I said something wrong, this might me 'cos of by bad English skills :(

Additional info on the bug:
- font settings are reset each time I visit Preferences / Editor / Settings page, even if I don't change anything there or clicking Cancel,
- font name in config file changes to empty string.

Hi.

Looks like Codelobster can't save current settings.

1) Please, install portable version to some other folder (not Programm Files)
and be sure that you have rights to this folder.

2) We suggest you to try standard mode (not portable)

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

- no, it can and it does saves its configuration normally. If I change any settings, it saves them, and I see the changes on next program startup.

- everything's Ok with installation directory, it's in D:\Programs where I have full access rights. No troubles with permissions.

- absolutely the same thing. I've installed CodeLobster in standard mode, but anyway:
* I still don't see "FixedSys" font in fonts list,
* If I set editor font to "FixedSys" manually in registry, it's reset to (empty line) on program start.

(I can set any other font and it will be set Ok).
Any other installed programs allows me to set "FixedSys" font anywhere :), and there were no problems with "FixedSys" font ever, on any Windows version.
Only with CodeLobster.

Hi.

Looks like Codelobster doesn't detect "FixedSys" font indeed.
We will look at this problem.

Thanks.
Codelobster Team.
