Hi Folks, Issue 1: Slow Start - it's amazing how much faster CL starts (and works) after I tracked down and installed the proper video drivers <grin> Issue 2: More data for you on Intermittent crashes (version 3.3.2) So far I've had things crash when 2 things occur - a) Switching to CL after being in another application (I believe that the editor was holding modified and unsaved files when it always happens, but I can't be sure) b) Right-clicking at the end of a file, less common than the first option. I'm using XP-Pro with SP3. As I notice more occurrences I'll pass them on. JS |

Did you change these opened files outside Codelobster? I don't think so. I *was* running other editors (syn and notepad) but I do not believe I was working on the same files (or even in the same directories). Could be that they're all stepping on each other with the same system libraries. If it happens again, I'll let you know. |

Hullo, I had a couple more crashes when switching back to CL. In every case, the editor was holding modified (but unsaved) files. I did *not* have any other editors open (I was switching back to cl from Opera Browser). Once it did think I had modified a file outside CL (which did not crash). When this happened I was working on a file with the *same name*, but located outside the project directories using notepad - actually just reading and checking code snips. Hope this helps. John |
