I have installed XAMPP into the folder c:\Xampp the Xampp application resides in c:\xampp\xampp

My web pages are located in c:\all_websites\posloyalty\jimhart
ie. c:\all_websites\posloyalty\jimhart\index.php

I have configured and started the xampp services.

My codelobster settings are...
Virtual Folder: c:\all websites\posloyalty\jimhart
Virtual Host URL: http://localhost/
path to php.ini: c:\xampp\xampp\php\
it autodetected my
web server: Apache2.2
php version: 5.3.1
port: 6000

I got nothing! I can see my code, but when I click "Preview" I get a download message and click "Open" but then nothing ever happens...

I have the latest ver of codelobster, because I just downloaded it today.

Is there no manual? or help?

Dynamic help shows nothing?

Where do you setup the database and connect to it in codelobster?

I'm sure these are just newb questions, but I can't figure it out, and if I can't then others are having the same problem.

Once the database is properly configured, How can I "fix" it so that the connection to the local database doesn't get carried over to my final ONLINE application, once it resides on the net?

I got the registration code, but there is no place to put it. the startup "splash" screen just zooms by when I open the application.

Please Help, I would like to use this program. I have been using dreamweaver but the projects that I do are large and I have to wait 10 minutes after a change just to be able to work with the program.

Thanks
MrFitz

Ok, the problem seems to be something with the way I have my project configured. When I try to run a file (Preview) I get this
http://localhost/jimhart/prints.php
Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

Error 404
localhost

Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8l mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.3.1 mod_apreq2-20090110/2.7.1 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.10.1

I want it to work but its being stubborn.

Hi.

We think that there isn't such file - http://localhost/jimhart/prints.php even without using Codelobster.
You should configure path to your project in the Project Properties - go to Project Tree and press Properties button on the project's name.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.
