Hi, just downloaded CodeLobster for PHP and bought the CodeIgniter Plugin. Really do like it, was always a hard nosed Dreamweaver fan, but CodeLobster is awesome.

Anyhoo... I have a problem, perhaps there's something simple I've missed. I've opened an existing project and have been busy coding away for the last couple of hours, saving and closing files as I went. However, when I've reloaded the files, they're empty!

All help is always greatly appreciated.

Hi.

Did Codelobster crash?
Do you have crash.dmp file?
.clback files should be located in the same folder in any case.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

Hi, many thanks for your response.

No there was no crash, application is running and stable - been attempting to see if there's anything common that causes this issue but not having much luck.

I have found that saving the file twice as Save As from the File menu, appears to save the file on the second Save As. On first attempt of saving a file, the application writes a 0 byte file (essentially a blank file). This behavior is common even if I make no changes to the file that was opened - saving the file as Save As, writes a 0 byte file.

Hi.

1) What encoding you you set?

2) Does the problem occur on new HTML file?
Have you inserted some text also?

Thanks.

Hi,

Admin Wrote:

I've tried UTF_8 and 1252 (ANSI - Latin I) - no change in behavior

Yes, occurs on all files irrespective whether they're created in CodeLobster or in Windows Explorer

Yes - thought it prudent to try combinations of this, small/large text blocks, single characters, etc - all same result.

However, all that said, I've solved the problem... It appears that CodeLobster lacks a Digital Signature and is therefore mistrusted by my install of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. It's necessary to set Kaspersky's application controls to ignore CodeLobster's application processes - simply Trusting the application is not enough.

Oh the joys of being safe online! Thanks for all your help guys :)
