When using the empty drupal site plugin wizard, I'm asked for the user name and password of the sql database used. If I already have an account created for the database, why am I asked for the admin/root account password if the box to create a user account for the database in question is unchecked?

If I already have an account and using it this shoudn't be required. In addition, the fields to fill in shouldn't even appear or be options if the check box to create a new database account isn't checked.

Hi.

Drupal installation supports more complicated sequrity case.
You may use "root" MySQL login for creating target database and assing new user for it.
If you would like to have one user you should enter same data into fields for "root" user.

Codelobster Team.
