i want to test ftp in the class room but has error can not connect
how to set up ftp of CodeLobster

Hi.

Please, try to enter FTP host name = 192.168.0.38 only, without \\ and folder name

Also is you have shared local folder you don't need FTP at all.

Hi, I am trying to connect my Dreamweaver (CS3) site to the host website using FTP but I keep getting this error message saying -

'An FTP error occurred - Cannot make connection to host.
Dreamweaver could not connect because the server is down or not accepting connections.'

I know that my details are correct becuase I rang my hosting site and they could connect. Also my firewall is disabled so that shouldn't be a problem. I read something saying that it could be my router acting as a firewall but I checked it and it's on the right settings.

Please help because I about to kill someone in frustration...
