I decided to update my xampp installation from 1.7.7 to 5.6.3.
codeLobster: 5.3.0
Apache: 2.4
php: 5.6.3
mySQL: 5.6.21.0
Windows 7 pro

codeLobster Debugger Settings:
Code:
Actual cakePHP app location: E:\appname\app\webroot
Virtual host: http://appname
Php.ini: E:
mpp\php
Web Server: Apache2.4
PHP Version: PHP_5.6.x_VC11_Thread_Safe
Port: 6000

Using the Install Debugger (preferences page) it just comes up and says Done!

I can set a breakpoint, and then Debug Home URL...
The pages are properly shown, but the breakpoint never stops!

I'm convinced I have some setting wrong, maybe in php.ini or in the Apache settings ?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
Greg

Ok, uninstalled xampp 5.6.3
Installed xampp 5.5.19
Code:
Only changed http.conf to get rid of <Directory> stuff for E:
mpp\htdocs
Added <VirtualHost *80> for E:
mpp\htdocs and E:\appname\app\webroot  (used for cakePHP)
Made sure to add "Require all granted" to each <VirtualHost><Directory> rules.
Bingo!

Works like a charm.

I will try again later with the 5.6.3 version of xampp and php. But for now, I've had enough!

My recommendation in these cases is always the same... install the latest version of Xampp :D :D
I pass you this Xampp tutorials page that is very interesting, it helped me a lot.

Best regards,
