I've been unable to get Codelobster Professional ver 5.8.1 to give my any syntax or error highlighting when I create a javascript error in my php code. Here's an example:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript">alrt("Hey Dude!!"; if x == 1 & 9 = 'xxx' y = 2;</script>
This piece of JS is full of all sorts of nonsense, but CodeLobster doesn't complain at all in this PHP file.
I also use NuSphere PHPed, and that IDE captures these errors quite nicely --automatically. I don't have to change any settings or set up anything special in that product.
Am I missing a setting here, or is CodeLobster simply not capable of examining embedded javascript for errors?
