Post subject:  Codelobster IDE Vs Codelobster PHP

Hi,
I consider to support your project and make a purchase, but it is bit unclear what are main differences between Codelobster IDE and Codelobster PHP.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seams that you are promoting more Codelobster IDE
So far main differences I have seen.

Am I correct ?
Codelobster IDE do not support SVN (are there plans to support it ?), Codelobster PHP seams support it
Codelobster IDE lisence can be used on 3 PC's and Codelobster PHP only one PC, is that relay true, maybe PHP can also be used on several PC?
Codelobster IDE you pay yearly subscribtion, Codelobster PHP you pay it once.

Maybe you have some compassion between codelobster IDE and PHP?

Will both Codelobster IDE and Codelobster PHP developed with same effort ? or in near future you will stick with only one product?

Post subject:  Re: Codelobster IDE Vs Codelobster PHP

Hi.

We are working on CodeLobster IDE very actively now.
But we didn't copy all features from "PHP Edition" yet.

The main advanates of CodeLobster IDE are (for now):
- it works all OSes - Windows, Linux, Mac OS
- it uses new interface library and we can change the style of whole application very easy
- it has more advanced JS and PHP autocomplete

Here are answer to your questions:

- Codelobster IDE doesn't support SVN yet indeed. But it has more extented support for Git including branches, special difference dialog etc. (We didn't describe this features on our site yet)
- We have very soft policy for Codelobster PHP Edition and it can be used on more than one PC with one serial number,
but CodeLobster IDE has a limitation of 3 activations per one serial number
- Yes. CodeLobster IDE includes 21 plug-ins and We must keep them all up-to-date. Therefor we desided to move to payment on subscribtion basis.
CodeLobster IDE looks more promisingly now. So may be We will close "PHP Edition" at all.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.
