Hi support,
every time I update CL, I have to backup the
Quote:
CodeLobsterIDE\Data
directory, because the setup overwrites it and deleting the language customizations and maybe other files as well.
If I forget I lose hours of work, you answer me - don't forget! - ok you're right, but it is possible to add a check that if the files already in this directory are different from the ones in the setup, ask what to do, or does it make a copy or show the differences?
The strategies to be adopted are different and you know which is the best.

Best regards
Seanet

Hi.

CodeLobsterIDE\Data files are not supposed to be edited by users.
So if You change something here - yes, You should backup them before installing each new version.

Regards,
Codelobster Team.

It would be useful to predict this, for example if there are some translations that are not exact and prevent their correct use. If I change them why not keep them already from the setup?
Thank you

CodeLobsterIDE\ Users are not supposed to alter data files.
Hence, before installing each new version, you should make a backup of them if you make any changes here.
