I can make a connection to my remote FTP server. But how do I actually upload my .php file? I don't see anything about uploading? Seems like there should be an icon or hot key or popup menu?

Hi.

You should press "Copy" on any local file or folder (by mouse right button) and "Paste" it into target folder on your FTP server.

That's extra steps when you're trying to edit, upload, edit, upload, etc. There is no way I can define a hot key to do this? This is a show stopper for me. My other editor(s) let's me upload with one action or two at the most.

Your solution requires:

1. scroll into the from list to find the file.
2. click on the target file.
3. right mouse click to popup the Copy menu.
4. select Copy.
5. scroll around the FTP list to find the target file.
6. Click on the same file (is this step needed or can I click any file to select the FTP list?)
7. right mouse click to popup the Paste menu.
8. Select Paste.

Eight steps!!!

So this tells me there must be some other way to do this task. As programmers we all know the work cycle: edit, upload, edit upload, etc. So I must be missing setting up something here?

Hi.

You can open any file for editing by double click on it.

I don't understand how this helps me with the FTP edit, upload, edit, upload issue? I don't have any problems opening files.
